The Arca Medina 20ft Deployable Habitat Unit is a fully self-contained, off-grid-capable living and working space built on an ISO 20ft standard dry van shipping container. Designed for rapid deployment in residential, industrial, and scientific environments, this proof-of-concept unit delivers a complete interior build-out with integrated 48V solar-hybrid electrical infrastructure. The interior features wood stud framing, closed-cell spray foam insulation, and radiant barrier OSB wall panels. A custom entry vestibule is created by pinning the original cargo doors open and framing an interior personnel door immediately behind them. A single 24"H × 30"W window is positioned on the long side wall for natural light and ventilation. The electrical system is centered on a 5kW solar hybrid inverter, a 48V battery bank (4× 100Ah LiFePO4), a DC fast charger, and a main distribution panel — all housed on the back wall. The exterior back wall provides a weatherproof main panel, a NEMA generator inlet, and solar roof input. All exterior electrical components are NEMA 3R or 4X rated.

ARCA STORM is the power-upgraded tier of the Arca Medina 20ft Deployable Habitat Unit — built for extended off-grid operations where energy independence is non-negotiable. Every STORM unit ships with a high-performance PVC composite interior panel system replacing standard OSB, paired with an expanded LiFePO4 battery bank and an upgraded 10kW solar-hybrid inverter. The result is a sealed, insulated, structurally reinforced habitat that can run independently for days without external input. STORM is the preferred configuration for agricultural operations, remote industrial sites, and field teams that need a permanent-feel structure with full mobility. All ARCA TERRA features are included. Pricing reflects full configured build at point of sale.

ARCA APEX is the fully autonomous configuration — Arca Medina’s highest-capability production unit. Built on the same ISO 20ft container platform as the TERRA and STORM, the APEX arrives fully equipped for permanent off-grid living or mission-critical field deployment. No shore power required. No grid connection. No compromises. Four roof-mounted solar panels feed a 10kW hybrid inverter and an 800Ah LiFePO4 battery bank. An auto-stop generator provides backup charging via DC fast charger when solar is insufficient. Internally, the APEX includes a full PVC composite interior build-out, macerator restroom system, and a kitchenette with sink, countertop, and cabinetry — everything required for extended human occupation without external services. Designed for scientific field teams, emergency response organizations, remote ranches, and anyone who needs a fully self-sufficient habitat deployable by flatbed in hours. All ARCA STORM features are included. The APEX is the final form.

LPG consumes ~25% more fuel volume than gasoline due to lower BTU density · Diesel consumes ~18% less · Fuel rates modeled as linear from 0.25 gal/hr idle to 1.0 gal/hr at rated load · Battery: 48V LiFePO₄ at 80% DoD · Solar avg = 175W per panel × 4 panels = 700W (assumes 5 peak-sun-hours/day).
The fire at the center of anywhere.
Every other ARCA unit is built around power. The HEARTH is built around living. A fully plumbed, gas-powered habitat with a working shower, flush toilet, on-demand hot water, and a propane kitchenette — all inside an ISO 20 ft container, deployable anywhere on earth.
Propane feeds the stove, the tankless heater, and tees off to supply an outdoor generator or grill. Gray water and black water route independently to exterior stub-outs. The 5 kW solar-hybrid inverter ships standard, leaving the unit fully solar and battery upgradeable when you're ready.
